Frequently asked questions

Signing up

Can I sign up offline?

Yes. You can sign up over the phone by calling 020 7923 5474 or you can email us at fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk.

I’m taking part with a team. Do I need to register my team members?

If your team members would like to receive their own challenge newsletters they'll need to register with a unique email address. Otherwise you're welcome to register one person and let us know your team members' t-shirt sizes.

How do I join the Target Ovarian Cancer Strava club?

You’ll receive an invitation to join the Strava club in your welcome email. If you haven’t received this email or if you have any difficulty with joining the group, please contact the fundraising team.

During the challenge

When will I receive my t-shirt?

Your t-shirt will be sent out to you within five working days. If you have any problems with your order please get in touch and we'll be happy to help: fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk.

How can I purchase a cycling jersey?

Our cycling jerseys are priced at £25 (including postage) and are available in unisex sizes from XS to XXL. Please contact the fundraising team and we'll arrange this for you: fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk.

Do you ask for proof of the distance I've cycled?

No, we don’t ask for proof of the distance you've cycled. The challenge is about coming together to raise funds and awareness during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and it’s important that your challenge suits your needs and ability.

What if I need to withdraw from the challenge?

If you need to withdraw from the challenge for any reason we’d be grateful if you could let us know so that you don’t continue to receive our newsletters. We'll still send you a certificate for any funds you’ve raised and you're always welcome to resume your challenge at a later date.

How can I raise £100?

If you’d like some tips on how to raise £100, you can read our fundraising guide [PDF] or our fundraising FAQ for inspiration. If you’re stuck for ideas, our fundraising team would be more than happy to help.

How do I set up my donation page?

You'll have the option of setting up a donation page as part of the online registration process. This donation page works with our online systems, so we ask that you use it instead of other sites like JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving.

You’ll receive clear instructions on how to set it up, both during and after the registration process, and our team is on hand to give you any help you need.

Can I use sponsorship forms instead of a donation page?

Yes, you can print our sponsorship form [PDF] or please contact us if you’d like us to send you some.

When will I receive my fundraising pack?

You'll receive your digital welcome pack within five working days of signing up. If you still haven’t received yours after this date, please contact us: fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk.

If you’d like to order physical materials, just let us know by email, or you can fill in our material order form directly.

I've raised money offline, how do I pay in my sponsorship?

You can pay in your sponsorship online, by phone on 020 7923 5474, or you can send a cheque, made payable to ‘Target Ovarian Cancer’, to Target Ovarian Cancer, 30 Angel Gate, City Road, London EC1V 2PT. Please write your name and ‘Pedal for Progress’ at the back of each cheque.

Is there a deadline for sending in sponsorship?

We ask that all sponsorship is paid in by Sunday 14 June 2022. We'll send out fundraising certificates and medals after this date.

If you have any more questions please email fundraising@targetovariancancer.org.uk or call us on 020 7923 5474 and we’ll be happy to help.
