BRCA Kent (West)

Support group for women with an inherited BRCA1/2 gene mutation, meets at Kent Institute of Medicine & Surgery, Maidstone.

Our support group meets at KIMS Hospital, near Maidstone every month and you can find out the dates here. It is an opportunity for local women with an inherited BRCA1/2 gene mutation to meet other women in the same situation and to talk about various topics, including risk-reducing surgery (mastectomy and oophorectomy) and HRT.  We occasionally have talks given by health professionals. We make sure that every woman that attends feels welcome, safe and part of a caring community where they are able to share experiences.

For more information or if you are interested in joining the group, have a look at our website. We also have closed groups on Twitter and Facebook.
