Wessex Cancer Support is committed to making sure anyone affected by cancer gets the free, local and personalised support they need and deserve throughout Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. They know that cancer is a very personal experience; whether someone has cancer themselves, are adjusting to life after cancer or supporting someone they love.
Everyone is offered a chat with their Wellbeing Coordinator, an opportunity to talk through your unique experiences and anything that might be worrying you and then create a personal care plan which may include one-to-one support like counselling, complementary therapies or health coaching, or more ‘light touch’ support like activities and support groups. This ensures everyone gets the package of support that’s best for them.
