Elevenses

Pop the kettle on and join us for Elevenses.

This Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, pop the kettle on and host an Elevenses!

Get together with friends, family or colleagues at 11am any day in September, and raise some dough to improve early diagnosis. Whether it’s a coffee morning, a knit and natter, or a garden party is up to you...

When you sign up, we'll send you a digital Elevenses toolkit – including recipes, branded bunting, fundraising tips, a Great British Bake Off sweepstake pack, guess the weight of the cake, and more!

If ovarian cancer is caught at the earliest stage, 9 in 10 women will survive. Currently, two thirds are diagnosed late, but you can change that – one cup of tea, one slice of cake, one donation at a time.

We had a fabulous get-together for our Elevenses event, holding a raffle and coffee get together...  We had four of us with ovarian cancer attend and even my cancer nurse joined us too!

Pauline's story

"Having been through treatment, I realised that I wanted to do more, to give something back. We all need to act now to make sure the future is brighter for women with ovarian cancer.

"I've held a number of coffee mornings as part of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. I think it’s fantastic that there's a specific month when we can all come together and make change – it's the perfect time to get involved with raising funds and awareness, because we have more of an impact together than any of us could on our own."
