GO! was established by a group of people with a personal experience of a gynaecological cancer with the help of the gynaecology oncology nurses at the University Hospital of South Manchester. The objective is to provide a support group for those who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing easy access to information, support and comfort. The support will be sensitive, respectful, person centred and driven with love.The support group is designed to be non-judgemental and available to everyone in need of support.
Each month there will be an informal chat over a cup of tea and a cake as well as an opportunity to chat with the nurse. You can join in as much or as little as you wish.
We meet on the third Thursday of every month, from 2pm–4pm at Altrincham Methodist Church.
