Go 50 miles this coming January for the 1 in 50 UK women who will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetime.

You can complete the distance any way you like – jogging or running, at the gym or in the park, in one go or spread over the month! However you take part, you'll be helping us to target life-saving early diagnosis, research and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

There's no registration fee for Target 50, it's completely free to take part! All you need to do is join our Facebook group, where we'll provide all the information you need to register and get started, as well as lots of resources to help you make those miles count.

When you register, we'll send you a free t-shirt! We can also provide any other materials you need to raise funds and awareness, including sponsorship forms and symptoms leaflets.

We suggest you set a sponsorship target of £150, but we're so grateful for any amount you're able to raise.

Don't have Facebook?

No problem! Just let our fundraising team know that you'd like to join the challenge and they'll give you all the help you need - email [email protected] or call us on 020 7923 5474. We recommend setting up a fundraising page on JustGiving, or you can fundraise offline if you prefer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the registration deadline?

There's no registration deadline, but the t-shirt offer is only available whilst stocks last, so we recommend you or any friends and family join the challenge as early as possible to avoid any disappointment! T-shirt orders close on Sunday 7 January.

Is there an age limit for participants?

No. You can take part if you’re 10 or 110! But, if you’re under 16, you will need a parent or guardian to sign you up to the challenge. Please email [email protected] with permission from your parent or guardian.

Can I take part in a wheelchair or mobility scooter?

Absolutely! It's your personal challenge and we encourage everyone to adapt it to suit their needs and goals.

I'm not based in the UK. Can I still take part?

You are more than welcome to take part wherever you are based in the world. Unfortunately, we can only ship t-shirts to UK addresses.

When can I expect my t-shirt?

From the point of ordering your t-shirt, it can take up to 10 working days for it to arrive. If you've waited longer than 15 working days, please contact our fundraising team at [email protected] or 020 7923 5474 and we'll look into this for you. Thanks so much for your patience.

Can I get an extra t-shirt?

Unfortunately, we have a limited stock of t-shirts and will only be able to supply one t-shirt per registered fundraiser.

What if I don't complete the challenge?

The only thing that matters is that you challenge yourself. However much you achieve, we're so grateful for your support and for raising much-needed funds for Target Ovarian Cancer.

Where will my sponsors' money go? Do I have to do anything else to pay in my online sponsorship?

All sponsorship will come directly to Target Ovarian Cancer. You don't have to worry about this. It happens automatically! Thanks so much for your incredible support!

What if I don't reach the fundraising target?

If you don't reach the fundraising target, that's okay. Every penny counts and will help the 1 in 50 UK women who will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetime.

My business/employer wants to donate/match fund my fundraising. How do they do this?

It's wonderful that your employer would like to match fund you! The process varies a little between companies. Please email us at [email protected] and we'll be more than happy to provide them any further information they might need. Thank you so much!
