I'm being followed up and monitored

Find out about follow up appointments, monitoring tests, targeted treatments and their side effects and how to manage scanxiety.

After treatment for ovarian cancer, you will continue to have regular appointments with your treatment team. These follow up appointments are to check how you're doing physically and mentally after finishing chemotherapy and surgery. During some appointments, your team will give you monitoring tests such as blood tests or scans. You may also be on targeted treatments, such as on PARP inhibitors or bevazicumab.
